COVID COMPOSITES

As soon as the pandemic was upon us, I found myself creating art to express my feelings. I have done this before when words prove inadequate. In this case, the most life-giving and accessible way of working as a photographer during lockdown was for me to create composites and collages using elements from my past and present photos. Frequently I didn’t know what I was feeling until after I saw the completed image. Like the pandemic, "Covid Composites” is ongoing. The images shown here are chronological and show how my emotional and artistic responses have adapted to the changing realities.
